One of the best features on it is actually the simplest, it's labelled "Series Link". While you're on the planner, press that and you can tell it to record the entire series. You'll then never miss an episode of the show as it will automatically record them as soon as they are broadcast.0

unfortunately, im already with plusnet and have no chance of fttc, i live in the middle of nowhere 4 miles from the exchange, im lucky to have broadband LOL
It does not matter how far you are from the street cabinet it's the distance from the street/road cabinet that will determine what speed you will get.

In response to someone saying turn it off at the mains, don't. It takes forever to power back on again, and if you have things set to record and you forget to turn it back on, then obviously it wont record!
Always put it in standby when not using it though, uses a lot less power.
Also if you're watching TV on a channel you can rewind it up for half an hour I believe.0 -
Thanks peeps, sounds like i've been missing out for years. My mate has the equivalent on virgin, she says you can choose a song on a music channel as long as it's already played - does anyone know if you can do that on sky plus?0

I have a plug in power monitor and my Sky+ box uses 3 watts less power in standby mode so not all that much.
Probably less than £1 a year difference.Getting forgetful, if you think I've asked this before I probably have. :rotfl:0 -
