There is I guess a point when investing becomes gambling, relying on gut feels and chasing quick wins.

That said each to their own and stringers performance seems pretty good - plus in his own words he can afford it (paraphrasing)

I'm trying hard not to but I tinker too. By luck I avoided a number of the recent drops and am now buying back equities I sold a month or 2 ago cheaper than I sold them. Also locked in some losses but overall doing ok.
