No earth bonding to gas meter

I had my gas boiler serviced by BG yesterday and was told there was no earth bonding to the gas meter which is situated outside the house. The house was re-wired over three years ago and I told him so but he said to ask the electrician as he could not see it. Is it something the electrician has missed as he did put in his report he needed to install a main bonding conductor to the gas? It is such a long time even if I ocontact him I do not think he will remember what he did. Funny enough it has not been picked before by BG. Thanks

With respect, you appear to be asking if the electrician forgot to install bonding. No one here can confidently answer such a question without seeing it.

You really need to enquire with the electrician (are they local and can come by and have a look when in the area?) as, although they might have to sift through their memory, they've still got more of a chance of knowing than we do.

Thanks, I have asked the electrician he is coming to have a look as he said he would not have issued certficate if there was no bonding.
