Looking for a job? Become a PE spy!!

thought I'd have nose at the PE site and found that they were hiring.
As I need the money to pay their fines I thought I'd take a closer look and found this gem under their job description:
Main Duties:

  • Assessing whether a case is suitable for a county court claim. This will include looking at a number of different factors
  • Finding potential candidates for ‘further action’ by analysing a number of key websites/forums and the information they provide

Looks like they are either planning to try and go after those giving advice or identifying cases that are being followed on here and similar and ensuring they go to court??

Faithfully,
Christina Kent from Peru.

Alternatively identifying cases that are being followed on here and similar and ensuring they do not go to court because PE would lose.

Something we've known for quite sometime, and why it's so important not to disclose to much information on the forum

When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Don't think it was a coincidence that the case being followed in the paper chain on PoPiPoo was one of the very few that ended in a court case.
Ultimately taking those better equipped to defeat them to court is a strategy that will more than likely backfire but let's all be a bit selective with the information we post.

Incidentally it seems that in some instances the PPCs pay a bounty of £10-15/car to neighbours for issuing tickets. I am sure that if these concerned citizens can be identified that the Inland Revenue &/or Benefits Office would be interested in receiving information on undeclared earning.
