Spraying fence treatment

Will a handheld pump action sprayer spray cuprinol fence treatment or is it too thick ?
If it does - this will save hours of time and £'s of money rather than buying a spray gun........

I would expect it to be too thick - though that isn't a definate answer.

If they are slot in panels lift them out and lay them out flat. Then slosh it on with a big brush - really quick and effective.

If you do decide to spray on the fence treatment, spare a thought for your neighbours, if any.

The airborn spray can travel a long way even with no wind. Having had washing, windows, walls, plants and garden furniture splattered with brown fence preservative by a thoughtless neighbour I would be happy to see the spraying of fences banned with the death penalty for offenders.

No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.
Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten.

Eight years ago - we paid for the fence to be fitted (it was our responsibility) - we hand painted 8 panels green - using brushes - our lovely neighbours decided to spray their side a thick muddy brown - using a high power spray - this oozed through to our side and trickled down our side - looking awful - plus, as you state it blew in the wind all over our conservatory and windows - which took considerable effort to remove !!
So - if we do spray (using either a gun or hand held) - we will remove the panels and do a proper job - against a clear wall - and we will ensure that some green accidentally ends up on the other side !!
