Legal Protection how much do you need?

I have just realised having 3 policies with the same insurance company I have paid for legal protection on each policy.... do I realy need to pay for each policy or should one payment cover all?

If you have a motor legal cover this is separate to anything you would have on your household insurance and covers different things.

If you have separate buildings and contents policies with legal cover on each, then you do not need 2 legal policies - 1 policy will cover both.

If this is the case, contact your insurer and ask them to refund one of the legal policies on B or C. If you are with the same provider for both they should not have sold you a 2nd legal policy.

we have 2 car policies and house/building and contents all with same company. So I think I'm happy with building cover is OK but as I have 2 car insurance policies would I need legal protection on both car policies if they are both in the same name.... and just another thought my wifes car is insured with same company but in her name so I guess she would need legal protection as well...
Very confusing or is it just me?

If your wife has a policy in her name for a separate policy then she would need the separate legal cover (if required)

You may be able to find a single policy, independant of your insurer, that will cover you for all 3 if you search onnline.
