Multiple contacts in one email - new Hotmail

I have tried looking on the useless Help section following the upgrade of hotmail to outlook.
When I sent an email in hotmail I used to be able to click on contacts and send to multiples of emails just by bringing up the list of contacts and clicking in a left hand margin.
I can't see a way of doing this. I seem to have to go in each time and choose a different contact.
Does anyone know how I can do this?
Failing that, do you know how I set up a group so I can put them all into one grouping, so I assume that would allow me to click on just one name and send to all?
Many thanks

you can just type the names in the to / cc / bcc boxes and it will auto complete your contacts.
or
you can click the words to / cc / bcc and it will bring up your contact list, you can then just click who you want.0 -

The problem is I regularly email about 30 people, so it would be a nightmare to have to constantly remember their names and type them in, I used to type in the letter of the people I would email, all with the same starting code it would give me a drop down box of all the contacts with that code and I would click in the left hand column and choose all 30 at the same time.
Does anyone know how I create a group of people, as I think that might be my only way?
Many thanks0 -
