Franking machine

The ancient franking machine our company uses has collapsed. We don't really want to rent one, given that clearly would end up being totally economic. Anyone any ideas as to where/how much for buying, in terms of a low-volume smallish one? I've had a quick surf and they seem to be totally outrageous in price.

Why don't you buy & print your stamps online from Royal Mail , there is no minimum contract and they are very easy to use. See http://www.royalmail.com/portal/campaign/content1?catId=1000002&mediaId=46000683&campaignid=smartstamponlinepostagelinkhp

Thanks for the suggestion - strangely enough, I was just trying to grapple with the SmartStamp software even as your post came in!

We've used SmartStamp a few times from home and found it very convenient. Having electronic kitchen scales helps.
