Living in halls, no home address?

From September, I may be giving up my rented flat to move into halls of residence for 51 weeks. I won't have any other address and was wondering, what's the best thing to do in this situation?

As a last resort, I can use my partner's address but I know councils now check this information to challenge council tax discounts.

Cheers

Why can't you just use your address in halls?

Didn't know it's an option, thanks.

Most forms you have to fill in for student finance and so on will ask for your term time address and then home address if different.

You'll just have the one address where you live full time, so use that.

If you're going into halls as a mature student then you're a braver one than I am, good luck and buy some decent ear plugs!

It's postgraduate halls but yes, it will be challenging! Hopefully will get somewhere else but at a pinch...
