the only reduction they might be able to make would be to reduce a total loss payout to reflect the fact that a car with an MOT is worth more than a car without an MOT.
Assuming there is no question about roadworthyness (which would be a whole new ball game) then I'd be arguing that the reduction shouldn't be more than the £50 cost of the test0
