Woolwich application progress

Yup, we're applying for a mortgage at the moment - gone direct with Woolwich/Barclays (whatever they've decided to call themselves).

Application seems to all be okay, the valuation was instructed on 15 April. So now I am just waiting.

We got DIP before we really started looking - that was early February. We were told then that they'd be a wait of about 5 days to hear if our application was accepted. No idea what it's like now, but might give them a call tomorrow.

Just really anxious to know if we'll get acceptance or not.

Ive just submitted another application and the apps are being looked at in about 6 days now. They have had their staff in doing overtime until late at night and over the weekends. They have also pulled a couple of the rates - presumably to get back on top of it all?
