Does anyone know if its possible to pay for stamp duty using a credit card?

I'm paying my stamp duty to the Solicitors who are then paying it over to HMRC, and the solicitors would take a credit card. Can you do this?House Buying Tracker:

It was mentioned on that thread to pay solicitors and estate agents fees on the credit card. In addition, these would only need to be paid on completion. Correct?0

The fees are payable at completion, yes.

If they do agree to take credit cards they are likely to want 2 or 3 percent extra to cover their card charges.0
