The only reason I posted on here was that I hadn't read anywhere of the Control Company, I think they call themselves, ringing anyone up, letters yes, and all the advice was to ignore them, which is what I have done.

    Don't worry yourself about this.
Simple solution is to go have a chat with the Manager at Morrisons and simply explain the behaviour of the cowboys operating on his watch and then tell him he will be cancelling the ticket - thereby ending the calls - OR ELSE.

They will call if they can find a number for you, so if you are in the phone book , or used your phone number for applications for credit which is then recorded on your credit file, or maybe on 192.com , social media even a business number for you. But it doesn't matter really just hang up on them, or string them along like this one did

When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I have blocked their number on my phone, so if they want me they will have to write.

If they ring again, do exactly as C-M has suggested and tell them the debt is denied and to pass it back to their client (usually themselves) and to stop harassing you or you will sue them.

Yep in fact if they knew you had a Blue Badge/were disabled and are harassing you then it's illegal, a breach of the Equality Act 2010.

Is it actually Euro Car Parks ringing you, or their debt collector firm? Whoever it is, tell them this:

'the alleged debt is denied, the 'parking charge' is null and void because it seeks to break disability law. You/ECP KNOW I am disabled and yet you are still harassing me which is illegal. Cease and desist all contact and cancel the fake PCN or I will sue you for damages for harassment and breach of disability law.'

If they say 'but you didn't display the BB correctly...' then interrupt, talk over them strongly and say that the BB scheme doesn't even apply on private land and you placing it on the dashboard in good faith is MORE than enough to indicate your disability need. Suggest that they read the disabled 'reasonable adjustment' requirement of the Equality Act 2010.

You know you really could sue them for money in damages? I suggest you go on the attack nect time they ring. Or you could put all that in writing in one 'Letter Before Action' to Morrisons and Euro Car Parks (both of them) right now if you want them to cancel it once and for all. Morrisons will not like receiving a threat of Court!

Just printed all that, just in case required. I will be speaking to Morrisons.

I have had a Euro Car Parks fake PCN myself nearly 4 years ago and I would cheerfully collect more and ignore them too. After all these years I still have the letters (same as yours) in my handbag which I show friends, relatives and colleagues as an example of the rubbish these PPCs send out to victims.

Nothing happens except the usual computerised letters from Euro and Control Account - and in your case I guess that's the company ringing you and harassing you?

Euro Car Parks admitted in a National newspaper that they NEVER do Court. Nothing at all will happen, no effect on your credit rating, no CCJ, you are doing the right thing in ignoring them.

Enjoy laughing at the letters, but when Control Account ring again tell them the stuff I suggested before, have it printed out by the phone and just repeat it until they (or you) put the phone down. It's really not on that they are harassing a disabled person so tell them what they are doing is ILLEGAL under the Equality Act 2010, as was the original fake PCN because your Blue Badge (even if upside down or out of date!) was easily enough to show the disability need.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you C-M , I will ignore all of it now, but, if I hadn't has access to forums like this, and help from people like you, I think at one point I might have given in, which I know its what they want. I will stand firm, I did at one time say I would walk into court and have my day, till someone pointed out that might not be so easy for me to do. ha ha.
