ESA50 - How long?

Filled in and completed the dreaded ESA50 which was sent back on 26th March.
Sent ATOS an email asking if they got it; yes they did get and its sat on someone's desk for review!!
I have asked my local MP to query as I had a benefit medical in November, why assess me again in such a short space of time?
How long does it take to get it sorted out?

Person who did your assessment or a decsion maker must have decided for some reason or other to review it after 3 months. Time awarded in Support Group before reaassessment which can be by paper or f2f assessment can vary from 3 months to 3 years max.
Unfortunately don't think there's any set time for these decisions , could be 2 weeks or 2 months, or maybe more? .0 -

When I originally foned DWP to find out why the ESA50 was resent, I explained I had a benefit medical 3 and a half months ago.
They said I should be due a review in 6 months from when the original ESA50 was sent out!!
I complained and said it should be reviewed after having a benefit medical.
DWP said that because I had a recent medical it would go more in my favour, and as my problems are still the same, and I'm on the same medication, I should keep support group!!
I am awaiting a response to my email from the local MP regarding this matter.
I really feel it a waste of money to keep reassessing people who medical problems remain the same after having a benefit medical.
Medical problems do not cured overnight; mine are long term and even my own GP has said she would deem me unfit for work; and certainly no employer would employ me now anyway!!0 -

!
That would expalin it then . They send out the new forms a few months in advance of actual review date to allow time for you to fill in, return, and for them to process it. Which can take from a few weeks to a few months.
It's now the process that everyone will be regularly evaluated and assessed . It's best not to take it too personally as it's the same process for everyone with 3 years being the maximum awarded time.0
