No they haven't mate. They haven't changed at all. There's always been a reasonable percentage of people from the minority and from ROI who've joined up. I'd say the odds are still in favour of Proddies but in my regiment there was no distinction. Also, if you take the Irish Guards as an example there is a very high proportion of Irish Catholics from Liverpool.
