Rough monthly bills - to help us budget??

Myself and my boyfriend are looking at rental properties, I justwondered if anyone could give me a rough idea of the bills (utilities etc)which we can expect for 2 people, for a small 2 bed house, to give us a bit ofan idea for budgeting. I’ve never livedaway from home before, so I’m trying to be sensible about it, to work out if it’s affordable or whether we should wait a little longer.
THANKS!
THANKS!

We live in a 2.5-bed (smallest bedroom is too small even for a single bed, and we use it just to store books, games and clothes).
We're very wasteful people, and our energy bills total £68 per month, per person. That's with the TV and games console on every evening, various devices charging throughout the day and evening, me working from a home office with the PC on all day and other things charging, and the heating on all day because it's so cold, and because our hot water stops working if we turn it off.
Then we have the £12 TV license, internet and phone totalling another £11. Our council tax comes to £59 per person per month.
Other than that, our costs are Sky etc. We rent our house for £600 per month in total, and our contents insurance is £7 total.0 -
You can find out the council tax band from the VOA website, and the charge for that band from the council website.
TV licence will be £24 for the first six months, then £12. Some of the energy comparison sites allow you to put in details of a property (rooms, construction, residents) to estimate fuel bills and usage.
As others have said, there are the other bills such as contents insurance, broadband, phone etc.0 -
Thanks very much for the feedback, much appreciated!0
