* your favourite thing about comping.
* a positive thing your doing this week.
* a positive thing someone has done for you this week.
*The way most of the community sticks together - I had some lovely messages last week congratulating me on the birth of my son, really brought a tear to my eye. And when a company is being a bit naughty how we stand up to them
(Winning is just a bonus!)
*(Trying to) Declutter my life - well, basically the house. Having our 4th baby, I've realised that we have too much stuff that we don't use / need and when Braxen gets older we'll end up with even less space, so need to get this sorted now! Just having a newborn doesn't make it easy, especially as hubby is working nights
*My other children, the three of them have been sooooo amazing this last week. They are ages 12, 9 and 4 and have been running around doing stuff for me & Braxen all week instead of spending their Easter holidays with friends. They have made me so proudThanks to all posters :A0 -
Lovely thread
* your favourite thing about comping.
Winning and suprise packages of course. But also how much time people are willing to spend finding comps;posting comps; doing puzzles; or recently hunting down Easter eggs, just so that other people (and themselves of course) can have a chance to win. [sorry that sounds really soppy but I have been pleasantly suprised since starting this comping lark at how much people are willing to help out people they will probably never meet]
* a positive thing your doing this week.
My sister and her family are coming to stay for a whole week tomorrow - which means I get to spend lots of time with my lovely (but slightly mad) nieces.
* a positive thing someone has done for you this week.
My Dad bought some mini eggs to go on my mahausive and very chocolatly Easter cake which I am making for a family gathering this weekend. Who knew that any form of Easter eggs are impossible to find on Easter Monday?0 -
This is a lovely thread. It is making me fuzzy and warm just reading it
My favorite thing about comping:
The surprise of winning. I never know what it will be next and I have had some truly lovely experiences due to this fab hobby
A positive thing I'm doing this week:
The Real People puzzles, ready to post and for all who do the puzzles, you will agree that Diabolical is very aptly named!
I am taking my Son and Nephew for a really special treat this weekend and believe me, it's hard to find something to please an 18 and 19 year old!
I am on week 3 of my 6 week empowerment programme and am already feeling the benefits (I have signed my Daughter up too). I go to the gym 3 times a week and absolutely love it!
A positive thing someone has done for me:
My Mum has given me a serious talking to for ignoring a health issue, which I will now get seen to. Thanks Mum, I needed the boot up the backside. To err is human, but to really mess things up you need a computer.0 -
What a lovely idea for a thread.
My favourite thing - when the postie walks up the path, rather than just passing by, and I can see that he has a packet, or two on really special days, and wondering what is in them.
Positive thing I've done- I've been finishing off some knitting for my new granddaughters, due this week.
Positive thing done, but not just for me - the twins were born yestersday :j:j:j both small, but doing well. They don't have names yet, just baby 1 and baby 2. I'm so excited, can't wait to meet them:j:j:j
Sorry, but just had to share my happiness and joy.0 -

**Favourite thing: Living in hope of winning a holiday, googling the tripadvisor reviews and planning what I would do - if anything it has given me some fantastic ideas when I get the money! :rotfl:
**Positive thing: accepting a place at university
**Positive thing someone did for me: received some bad news and left work in a bit of a huff, someone I've recently met sent me the loveliest text message detailing how wonderful I am (obvs) and how things will get better etc - really made me smile!0
