I must have lived a sheltered life as not to have come across this (Radar Toilets) before but I guess my peeing needs have been around for only a short while.
I can see where (online) you can buy a key but is there an online list of the whereabouts of the actual toilets?

Thank you so much for such a speedy and excellent answer. I have an old, passed down to me, IPhone which I use PAYG and have now downloaded the app. :beer:0 -
I use most disabled toilets & the key always fits - well it has so far.
I got one of these after having bladder cancer, it comes in very handy if there's no toilet around. You can use it in the supermarket or ask anyone really. http://www.bladderandbowelfoundation.org/resources/toilet-card.asp0 -

I have the app on my mobile now BUT every toilet location it looks up, under facilities, tells me a big cross at the side of every single one. Or the locations are not really anywhere near where I will be.
Another problem is the seasonally open/closed toilets as you sometimes don't know they are closed until you get there and see the closed for season sign. I found this in Babbacombe, Torquay last year & because I was at bursting point I peed in a nearby hedge. Not good in case you are seen and accused of flashing. Sounds funny after the event but not at the point of feeling like a dirty old man. :eek:0 -

For info. A radar key long or short will fit all radar locked disabled loos regardless of whether they are council ones or shops or anywhere there is one. The system was designed to stop normal people using and abusing them and in some cases deliberately vandalising them.0

The Wheelmate app data is provided by users themselves, so if you do know of an accessible toilet that isn't listed, please do add it yourself and make the location and details as accurate as possible.0
