Reclaiming bank charges

My Mother is 78 and has a Natwest Gold Advantage card on which she pays charges. She tells me she wasn't aware that she was paying this and has never used any of the services. She cant drive, and she's never used any insurances or anything. I have power of attorney as she gets very confused dealing with people and I am trying to reclaim for her. Unfortunately she had a clear out of her statements and only has the last 7 years statements. Where do I start on her behalf?

If you don't think she wants this, I would suggest you start by calling the bank and getting it cancelled.
