    Dont panic!!!

Sometimes it takes a little while for new cards to show up on your report....

It normally takes 6+ months of ownership of the new card and making sure you keep up repayments before your rating starts to creep up. Once it does though its great.

I started in Nov 2005 with a basic bank account and no history. Iv now got a £500 Overdraft £500 Limit on my Visa Credit Card and a Visa Debit Card (I started out with an Electron as most people did)... I also just got accepted for a very nice new bill phone with 3 (Needed a proper phone for work)...

So what im saying is dont panic. It will show up eventually and it will be backdated when it does ie: All the payments you have made will show up...

Hope that helps and good luck with your your rating. Its a realy handy thing to do keeping tabs on your history. Its even better when you see your hard work start to take effect just be sure not to use your new rating to spend more than you can. Spend a little and its great knowing you have extra when you need it...

I hope to have a £1000 O/D AND £1000 C/C before the end of the year. Not as high as some people but I dont want to end up in trouble in years to come and end up having a crapy record.

Thanks very much everyone for your reply. I really appriciate it. It is really good to know the Lloyds tsb credit card will help me improve my credit score.
At the moment I've got credit card with the Lloyds TSB and have just been accepted with the Vanquis. The Vanquis give me 250 credit limit. Do you believe I don't even start to use their card yet, but they put on my credit report intantly.
It was very easy to get credit card with the Lloyds TSB. I have got really bad credit score and cannot get credit cards anywhere else(except the Vanquis). Of cause i have got accounts with them but only for 8 months and was given 4500 credit limit (very generous). Do you have these experiences with Lloyds too?
