Buyer demanding refund
Comments

Why do people come on these boards and offer advice with no idea of what the heck they are talking about?
You have no choice, just offer a refund on return-i do hope you are registered as a business seeing as you are selling customised items? However i fear if you were a business you'd know that you can't put 'no returns' in your listings.0 -
So, if I sold you a bit of My own personal china on my private account and it arrived damaged you , as a buyer, would be quite content as I had sent it and that's all I need to do as a seller- really?
Well it depends on how much effort you had taken to protect the items in transit. If you had carefully wrapped every item separately and double-bubble wrapped each, with fragile stickers, etc, then I would consider it extremely unfortunate for it to be damaged in transit. I would take photos and ask the buyer what they could do about it before demanding a refund.
On the other hand if the china was not properly packaged/protected then of course I would not be content. I would still take photos and communicate with the buyer as a first step though.
Is that not reasonable?
Call me old-fashioned but how is late delivery within your control if you posted it on time and by the method specified?0 -

It is really surprising just how many business sellers have terms like "no returns" and "10% restocking fee charged on all non-faulty returns" - I see them every day!0

It's all relative though, one person's "well packed" is often not another's. The seller has to ensure it arrives in the same condition it was sent, it doesn't matter if it was sent door to door by armoured guards or posted in a bin liner, if it arrives in pieces the buyer gets a refund.Well it depends on how much effort you had taken to protect the items in transit.
