my dad is wanting his first laptop, will be using it for general browsing, and streaming movies.
is this laptop a good price and i assume will be up to the job. ?

That laptop would work fine for general browsing and nothing processor heavy. The processor a little dated in it but as i said for day to day use it should be absolutely fine.0

The processor isn't dated was release by Intel last year quarter 3:

It's a Sandy Bridge processor so whilst being a new(ish) processor it is based on already superseded tech. Nowt wrong with that though if you don't need the little extra oomph and graphics Ivy Bridge can give.0
