in Credit cards
Hi guys, be gentle this is my first time on here
I've given myself a kick up the proverbial and it's high time I change my credit card as every month I have just let my DD payments continue and they incur interest of about £50 a month when I'm only payng off about £45-£50 a month of the owed amount. My credit rating is classed as good courtesy of Experian (944) but i have in the past been turned down by other banks when i had bad credit issues. I am relectant to try and get turned down again and wait another 3 months or so so wondered is there a rule or advice that says you can't apply to Virgin to transfer the existing balance with my virgin card to another? thy have told me that I can't just transfer and that the money would have to sit somewhere - my bank account surely?? perhaps I am being too cautios but some advice would really help. cheers all!

Do you mean from one Virgin CC to another Virgin CC? No way - this is the same for all providers, not just Virgin....is there a rule or advice that says you can't apply to Virgin to transfer the existing balance with my virgin card to another?
Yes, you have to make a money transfer to a current account, then to pay the other card off.thy have told me that I can't just transfer and that the money would have to sit somewhere - my bank account surely??0
