Hi
I Will have around £200 worth of tesco vouchers to spend when the next lot arrive in may. Thinking of using them for a holiday next april or may, 2014.
You can use 165 in vouchers against the cost of any hol so £495. Think this will cover the cost of a week or most of it anyway, even though i will be paying brochure price. Looking at italy or spain. I'll then book flights seperately.
I've booked a holiday before using vouchers with siblu and found them really good. Has anyone had any experience booking with thomson al fresco, particularly in spain or italy?
Thanks

We used tesco vouchers for thomson al fresco to go to Paris, I just called them to book and got the same price as online, brilliant company had no problems with them at all. they even got our caravan ready early incase we turned up early.
Super easy to book with the vouchers as they were emailed to me... I even booked the ferry with them as it was cheaper than the p&o website (I think £29 return)
Caravan was immaculate, had decking, own garden, driveway,BBQ. No tv,which didn't bother us we took a stereo and iPod.0 -
Thanks for that. Sounds like you had a positive experience.:) we have
Used most of the major operators, keycamp, eurocamp ect in the last few years. We had a really good 'tesco' holiday using siblu as well a few years ago.
I see that you can now price up your al fresco holiday via the tesco
link on their website. This is useful, as you then know the total cost.
Just one question, do you remember how far in advance you booked?
When we did siblu, we booked june for the following may. Got a great price booking so early.
Thanks again0 -
Hi, I haven't used Tesco vouchers to book with Al Fresco before but have been to 8 different Thomson Al Fresco sites and have never been disappointed. Our favourite by far however is Marina di Venezia just outside of Venice and with direct access onto an amazing beach. There's an airport nearby too.0

Thanks. Will take a look. Was initially looking at lake garda, but see there are quite a few al fresco italian sites that look fab.:D0

We have also stayed at Lake Garda with Thomson Al Fresco and the whole area is fantastic. Sirmione is amazing for a day trip and near to most of the sites too. The site we stayed at was Del Garda which was quite basic compared to some of the others we have stayed at, but makes up for it with the proximity to the lake. Or why not do what we did and stay for a week at Marina di Venezia, then another few days at Lake Garda - you get the best of both worlds!
Hope you have a fantastic time0 -
We stayed at Lake Garda last year and are going back for the end May this year, courtesy of Tesco. The Thomson Al Fresco mobiles are fine and we used Tesco points, converted to Avios, to pay for the flights as well. Cheap holiday, good weather, and well worth it0

Thanks for the feedback. Really useful. Would love to stay more than a week, but are limited to seven nights in the may school holidays!

Fantastic, practically a free holiday then:D Wish i had enough to convert to avios for flights as well!
What is the weather like in may? Is it warm and sunny, or a bit hit and miss, and are the pools on site open?
Finally, do you remember when you booked for this may.?
When we did siblu, we booked months in advance to get the mobile we wanted, and also to get the best price.
Thanks again, and hope you have a great holiday.0
