Was it 2 days after the due date, or 2 days after the statement date? Was there any weekends or bank holidays that may have contributed to it being received later? Do you now have a direct debit setup to cover the minimum payment to avoid this?
If you were to apply for a mortgage then just take the corresponding statements with you to demonstrate how slight the misjudgement was & if DD in place ensured wouldnt happen again.. That could work, if it came to it..0
