Sorry - VoipBuster temporarily unavailable for download
Due to technical problems we have decided to temporarily put a limit on the number of new VoipBuster clients. As we are currently in BETA stage of developing this new and exciting product, we opt to continue our test runs with our existing BETA usergroup for the next couple of months. Consider yourselves the happy few
Our current BETA users can continue calling with VoipBuster, just like they are used to. In fact, we urge you to keep on using VoipBuster and participate in our forums because now is the time to share your wishes and expectations for the official release.
Please keep an eye on our website for the latest news about the official release. Please enter your email address below if you would like to know when VoipBuster is accepting new customers again.

In case anyone is unaware calls to USA 'freephone' numbers (codes 800 866 888 etc) are charged at €0.01 per minute by VOIPbuster. They don't fall within the 'free' category like regular USA numbers.
I discovered this today although it is not clear in the price list.
It's a small charge - but worth knowing about especially if the company you are calling has both a 800 number and a regular number.0 -
Available again ...

VoipBuster Newsflash!
Great news: As from today, VoipBuster is available again for all Beta testers! And on top of that we have added some popular destinations to our list of free countries as well.
BUT: To counter the misuse of our network and to reserve capacity for our genuine testers, we have limited our Free-Calls policy to 1 minute per call. If you want to enjoy UNLIMITED free calls, just register and buy 1 euro worth of credit.0 -
Tried dialing from Voipbuster to BT landline and found that the BT phone couldn't end the call.
Putting the BT handset back down on the phone doesn't end the call, if you pick it up again you are still connected to the call from Voipbuster and unable to make any calls from the BT phone until the call from Voipbuster is terminated by the Voipbuster user.
Not so good if you need to dial 999!0 -

This doesn't just happen from VoIPbuster, the same will happen if you call a landline from another landline, this is why when someone calls you and you answer, you can put the phone down and then pick up another extension without cutting the call off.
It is the calling person who terminates the call. (ISDN lines usually drop the call when either party hangs up). It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

Has anyone tried VoIPtalk yet
I registered yesterday and got £2 free credit and a free virtual number with the area code of my choice
I've made a couple of calls to try it out and it works fine
Rang myself on the virtual number and got through to myself so that works too.
If I go on to pay £9.99 a month I get unlimited landline calls to all UK, most of Europe, Iceland and USA,
The virtual number will then include voicemail to email
its at http://www.voiptalk.org/products/index.html
I needed the virtual number so its good for me.
I was considering Skype but their virtual numbers are all in places that I dont want. Its very limiting. The ones on VoIPtalk seem to be just about anywhere.
I wanted an 01433 number and got one
Before I go with their unlimited package can anyone suggest anything better?
