Decorating inspiration

Hi
Just bought my first house with my fiance and we have no idea what to do with it in terms of decorating and therefore I'm trying to tap as many websites as possible for free samples or 'decoration' guides.
Does anyone know any companies which are paricularly good for free samples? I have not got very far, just free vinyl samples from carpetright, but there's got to be more.....
Thanks :)

go to BandQ with a small knife and you can take 100's of samples of wallpaper (not steal, they have open rolls).

    (other builders warehouses are available...)

Next do free wallpaper samples, and also the first two wall paper samples are free at wallpaperdirect. For inspirations try Pinterest or website housetohome, also magazines like ideal home are great and have fb page. Alternatively type in a subject and search google images for inspiration.

Next Home (large stores) tend to have wallpaper samples and brochures which may give you some inspiration. I tend to spend time on websites like Homebase, B&Q, Next etc seeing what I like and take ideas from there.

For style inspiration, and loads of home improvement ideas check out Pinterest, esp the Home decor and DIY & crafts catergories.

Wallpaper direct have a huge range of wallpaper and will send you 2 free samples. They also have a downloadable magazine for inspiration.

Topps tiles provide free postage on all tile samples, up to 6 in one order, plus you can return them to store for a full refund - samples are charged at the price shown for one single tile. They also have an online mag for ideas.

Blinds 2go also send out samples free of charge, not sure if there is a limit on how many.

We've found the best inspiration was looking at houses on rightmove- I tend to find that magazines and shop brochures always have massive rooms with lovely big windows which isn't that realistic, whereas houses for sale are much easier to get a sense of what works
