How much is my house value likely to improve by changing from a flat roof to a pitched roof?

Probably nothing0

It would be easier to sell with a pitched roof, many buyers are put off by flat roofs. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

I disagree,
properly done a pitched roof can add considerably to the value of a property0 -
It would also depend on what part of the property the flat roof was on. Bedroom or kitchen or other living area it would probably matter more than a garage. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Thanks for all your replies. It will be replacement of the whole roof.0

Definately a pitched roof, flat roofs are a big NO for me0

I'm not a fan of flat roofs at all, so I'm all for a pitches roof. However are you looking at changing the roof and then selling or changing and living in the house? I ask as the cost for the pitched roof with immediate may not make the money back, I'd probably be inclined to ask a few local estate agents just for a rough figure0

Thanks for all your replies. It will be replacement of the whole roof.
Sorry my initial answer was a bit flippant I obviously didn't realise it was the main roof of the house.
Maybe a bit more description of the house and area.
Do other houses have pitched or flat.
How old is the house .
Will you be able to change it, may be a conservation area.
How big is the house. etc
A pitched roof will usually have some inherent value with regards to maintenance.
What is the current roof construction.
Is the structure suitable for adding apitched roof.
There are many variables which affect the price of a house.
For example Buckingham Palace has a flat roof , I don't think putting a pitched roof on it is going to increase it's value.0
