Capital One BT how many can i make ?

i have just successfully applied for a capital one balance transfer credit card they have very generously given me a credit limit of £500 and 0% balance transfer for 6 months.

now my question is can i make more than one balance transfer to this card from my other credit cards ? for example can i transfer £400 and pay it off then another £400 and pay it of each month when my salary comes in till the end of the balance transfer offer in 6months time.

You can normally make as many as you want within the time window. So you normally have a month or two in wchih to make them, and the 0% then last for 6 months.

But it would be counterproductive to be paying off the 0% balances when you could be paying off the interest bearing balances elsewhere.

You should transfer what you can, then focus on clearing the rest, leaving the 0% balances alone, just making min payments plus £1.

You can, but I don't see the point.

You would be better doing like zx81 says and transfer £400 and then pay off the other card from your salary as that one will (I assume) be attracting interest.
