Just got back from Spain, where for the first time ever we were pickpocketed. ! Took my wallet and compact camera. Caught site of him but he got wasy. Unfortunately lots of euro´s ! Obviously reported to ploice etc etc, and will only get 200 back, but still is something. Camera is covered, but bought as present year ago, still have booklet, leads and disc, but no reciept obviously, and no way of getting hold of one. First ever claim. Insurance company say I must have a receipt ! Whay can I do ?? Help.

Had exactly the same problem, Columbus in the absence of a receipt only offered me £50, so I never recommend them! If you bought it from a specialist store such as Jessops, could you not check through your CC or bank statements to show the payment going out of your account?0
