I think it's apalling, especially as those who may be currently without a job are most likely to be watching during the day and are some of the most vulnerable to this sort of thing.

I_A, that impression made me Laugh. I cant stand that bloody woman or her dopey husband tripping over juniors scooter. I always feel like saying to him thats gonna be the least of your problems once the interest and realization of the consolidation kicks in!

Danielle, Its not just you. there everywhere! It just shows you how much that they make from "us" that they are able to run adverts 24/7 as Im sure its not cheap. We all have seen Martin and his campaign against Carol Vorderman what I totally agree with and feel that this should be extended to all the advertisers.

Its a shame that it does cost too much as adverts for the CCCS or Payplan would be great.

I find those sort of adverts so annoying, but also very worrying as they act like they are doing you a huge favour and they aren't.

They seem like a friendly life line to people who are desperate and all they seem to do is cause more trouble as people then max out their cards again. I understand that they are a business, but I think with the profits they make out of the financially desperate then they should at least provide people with an hour or two of debt councilling free of charge. They at least they might still sell their loans but stop people spending on their cards again.

I agree. Loan adverts seem to be neverending. I was watching a sattelite channel the other day, and in one break there were four different loan companies advertised, two IVA providers, and a "it's not just food, it's Marks and Sparks overpriced crap" advert. What amuses me is the IVA adverts that talk about a "little known peice of legislation". How little known can it be when every ad break harps on about it!?!
