Don't discount it straight away, you may find if you ring some of the childminders may be slightly flexible ie. you finsih at 6 and get to them at 6:20.
My childminder finishes at 6 but one day a week she has my son until 7. She knows I'm a good payer and good at time keeping. It may be worth a shot, you never know till you ask.
