SSE fine & compensation
Options
Ofgems report on SSE's mis-selling and £10.5 million fine is published on Ofgems web-site today
Listed at the bottom of Page 1 it advises that SSE have set aside a £5million fund to compensate affected customers, giving the contact phone number of 0845 0707 388.
The key period of mis-selling runs from July 2011 forward to today, I suggest that the regulars on this site keep a note of this as it's going to be needed for quite some time in the future

A nice record fine there
This won't be the last fine - OFGEM are still investigating other suppliers. As the industry shills on here often say, the energy industry is a 'very competitive' one

Fines will eventually just get past on to customers anyway in the form of higher bills, as customers it's impossible to win against energy companies, as directors of these companies its impossible to lose.0

These transgressions were 'all in the past', or as the banks like to put it 'legacy liabilities'. In other words they couldn't give a t**s.0
