Wednesday 3rd April - What DFW small things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Hope nobody minds me starting this today. Don't think I've ever started this thread and I'm paranoid about a double thread. Where is everybody?
My list today
[STRIKE]Check banks[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Daily clicks[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Coffee morning with kiddies[/STRIKE]
Tidy front room in progress but having the kids at home doesn't help
Meals from stores
Heating on as little as possible (kiddies in so not turning it off)
[STRIKE]LSD[/STRIKE] (donation made at coffee morning to charity for tea and toast)
Move Easter eggs somewhere I won't be tempted to eat them :rotfl:
[STRIKE]HC[/STRIKE]
Line dry in progress
Ironing once dry
Crocheting this evening
That's me I think
Happy Wednesday everyone

Hey guys
Thanks to people for their comments yesterday, sorry I didn't respond but I ended up being quite busy!
Went to trainer last night so 7.50 but good value given 45 minutes exercise and felt physically sick afterwards - I need to be pushed!
Then made dinner from stores and watched Broadchurch and Revenge!
Had meant to get up at 6 this morning and do a fitness dvd but was shattered so didn't get up until 8!
Have had protein shake for brekkie and will have soup and a piece of toast for lunch at home as have to meet someone there to discuss the garden.
Making a v healthy curry from stores tonight which should make 4 portions so can freeze for later in the week.
Think the workout last night helped with my mood and planning to go again tomorrow night.
Didn't drink yesterday and would really like to go teetotal forever but not sure that's a realistic option!I want to be a writer0 -

Hi all. Been waiting in all morning for the central heating engineer, but no sign yet. The time slot is "between 8 & 1", so been pottering around the house doing odd jobs this morning, and waiting to test out my new bike once the engineer has been and its safe for me to go out.
Also need to return one of the heaters that I bought at the weekend. The plug gets red hot when its been on for a while and I'm worried that its a fire risk.
Dentist yesterday was fine, but I hate paying £55 to be told that everything is fine. I almost want there to be something wrong just so I feel that I'm getting my moneys worth
Other than the cost of the heating repair, today will be a NSD. It needs to be!Debt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -
hi all
Have checked banking online - all as expected
Read some posts to see if any tips - always find something on here :-)
a lsd today. spent 9 pound on lunch as was meeting an old work mate along with 2 current workmates.
old workmate now works for a very well known cereal maker and got me 2 boxes of cereal . she gets a good price through staff shop.. So although i spent 9 quid ive now got cereal for step kids , which would probably have cost me a fiver at least.
struggling work wise today. seems as though this am every time i opened and dealt with one request , two more were coming in. but now i have chilled out over lunch hoping this avo will be a bit more .. settled.
going to force myself to go to gym tonight.. not been for two weeks since gym instructor made me have a session with him and i was so exhausted... :-(
dinner from stores tonight... the leftover chicken stew i did in slow cooker yesterday.. but today i will have some garlic bread with it.. mmmmm
