Hi Guys
I need advise. I am planning to move abroad (Dubai) but having debts here (aprox. £8500 over 2500 just with Vanquis - my biggest mistake ). Obviously I will not have a residency in the UK, but I am still willing to pay my debts off some how. I can not afford to pay it off straight away. I dont really care about my credit rating as I am leaving and not planning to be back in next 6 years or so. I was thinking of leaving the debts too but I am scared of the consequences in future as I will be coming back to UK on work trips etc. What should I do?
Kind regards
Mayo

It doesn't matter where you are resident, you can still set up a plan to repay. So long as you are repaying, you can't be chased for the full amount. My partner has UK debts and we live overseas.0
