Seeing more and more threads/posts everyday of people complaining to DVLA about poor practices by PPC's and the DVLA selling our information with little or no checks.
After an initial flurry of bans by the DVLA in Sep/Oct last year when it looked like the might be beginning to take the matter seriously, they have gone back in to their shell.
I think it's about time people start taking action, complain to whoever will listen, but certainly your local MP and ICO.
Maybe even start a petition to get it discussed in Parliament?
I know it will be a long process, but if enough people complain your MP/Parliament can't go on ignoring forever...
Thoughts?

Yes a petition is good, the government has a place for this. Think you need at least 100k signatures for it to be raised in parliament. Think complaints should continue to be given to the dvla, I'm awaiting for 2 at the moment. I will take it to my local mp if they don't answer soonWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
