Gas Leak? Drop in pressure from Meter to Boiler

Think I have a leak somewhere - boiler guy today showed me a 4bar pressure drop from meter to boiler, partly pipe work issue but need to rule out leak. Can anyone recommend a company to use? Google brings up leakbusters

My insurance says it will cover for trace and access but need to confirm with natwest exactly whats covered.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

what do you mean a pressure drop ?
a 4mb drop when he did a tightness test ? or a difference in the working pressure between the meter pressure & the boiler inlet pressure ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Pressure drop and gas leak are completely different things.
Pressure drop means the pipe is too narrow to provide all the gas the boiler needs. It's done my measuring the pressure at the meter, then at the boiler, with the boiler running.
A leak could, theoretically, also lead to a pressure drop. But it would be so great that the smell of gas would be obvious.
Leak testing is done by turning off all appliances, connecting a pressure gauge, and then turning the gas off at the meter. The pressure should stay steady for the duration of the test.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

I think you mean 4mbar drop in working pressure. This is caused by either a pipework blockage or undersized pipework. As already stated, a leak big enough to cause that drop would have been obvious before now.( open end on pipe, big bang, no house)
There is a big difference between 4millibar pressure and 4 bar pressure0
