Compaq Laptop

Hi,

I have a compaq R3114EA laptop. I'm having some problems such as:-

• The laptop iw getting too hot
• The fan makes terrible noises
• The computer stops responding until the fan noises stops
• 
  
  Any idea why this is happening? and how can I stop this?

sounds like the fan is going or is clogged with dirt, this sprayed in the air intakes/outlets may help

Yep, give it a good clean. Dislodge the dust first with a cotton swab/toothbrush and then use the canned air as shown here
