Hi MSE's I'm looking at maximising potential rewards from purchases.
I use my credit card for every thing and just pay it off at the end of the month, the MBNA More Rewards Credit Card caught my eye and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this card?

Double rewards for 90 days then 2 points per £1 on the AMEX card and 1 point per £1 on the VISA thereafter.
Sound good?
Thanks in advance

Its good if you need to buy things from argos as thats only place you can spend points0

Maybe I'll pass - I can't remember the last time I shopped in Argos.
Thanks for the reply.0 -
I find Argos good. They have a greater range of items than you think and prices are normally either the same if not cheaper than online, or a £1 or so more.
I have a Nectar card/credit card so buy a fair amount from there with points. The last thing was the GoPro 3 Black Edition - was cheaper than online and were one of the few places to actually have it in stock (probably because like I said you wouldn't imagine them to).| Amex & Foursquare Hoarder |Cashback & Points (26/02/13)
Nectar: 71,816 (£357) | Avios: 62,036 | Membership Rewards: 45,076 (£225)
Foursquare & Xbox Cashback: £1,865 | Quidco Paid: £9860 -

So basically the AMEX version of this card offers 'near cash' at 4% during the first 90 days and 2% thereafter which sounds OK to me. The website doesn't seem that forthcoming on exactly what the points can be used for and what the 'exchange rate' is tho...Russinating wrote: »....
Russinating I note in your signerature you value Reward points at 2p each - what is this based on? ThanksI think....0 -
