Average energy usage
Options
Hi there
I'm trying to get a feel of if our house is any good at energy saving. At the moment, we're paying £52/mo for gas and £32/mo for electricity (throughout the year, although we're currently 400 quid in credit across both supplies). I've just transferred to SWALEC. uSwitch tell me that this'll shave a further 68 quid a year off the combined bills. Is our usage about right? I'm aiming to do some more insulation work this weekend as our loft isn't exactly great for insulation, but would be interested to hear other people's usages.
Thanks!

Ring your supplier, get your last 12 months actual consumption figures and post them here and we will answer. The DD amount is pretty meaningless when trying to find your actual consumption. HTH.0

Size of the house? How many hours occupied? Heating and hot water systems? Without full info there is no meaningful average.
The fact that you have substantial credit on the account means that your DD figures can tell even less than usual about your actual kWh consumption-which is shown on your annual statement. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
