Oh Well done on the weight loss, I woulnt mind looking like Nora Batty if I could drop 2 sizes, I did really well at the begining and lost 1.1/2 stone but its gradually creeping back on

I think i've put half a stone back on probably now Meg, i like my food too much. I miss not being to eat the way i want, but of course don't want to be overweight again.I need to reign things in to lose this last stone so i can hit one more drop in dress size. I managed to get some leggings, so they should see me through for a little while. I do need a bit more variety of clothes though.

Back to spends, i splurged £13.98 in Ald* which was great really for what i bought. Also £10.60 in Mr A. So with the Mr T shop later, hope to come well under the £90 i estimated above as with promotions that should only be £35.

I managed to hit Tescos just as they were reducing the reductions, so got the nice man to rescan my reduced items and managed to knock another £5 off them so weekly shop for the three of us including loads of goodies, muffins and biscuits came to £12.53, may just need to stock up on milk later on.
I even got a price match coupon of 19p even though everything i bought was reduced.

Went back to supermarket yesterday, was going to nip to Co-op for something and couldn't get on the car park (it's walking distance fgs) so went further afield instead. What a numpty.

Spent £8.50 which included big pack YS lean mince beef for £3.30, packet of casserole steak, taste the difference for £2.49 and chicken fillet type things in bread crumbs for £1.99. That's it now, am keeping out of shops as much as possible, blimmin ridiculous that I was even there.

Really shouldn't need anything for a while now, if I go anywhere near sm, will give myself a slap.

Got £62.50 at car boot today. Never been to one before, jury's out on if I will ever return x

Great result, I too struck lucky in Asda today, I spent 2.30 and got

    5 loaves
    4 half swedes
    1 pot sour cream
    Mushrooms
    Sprouts
    Yogurt 500g
    New potatos

    all at 10p each,

then 1.00 on a full priced bag of sweet and cruncy salad, decided I had saved enough to afford that lol.

£3.75 on some beer for DH in m & s.

I have had a good use up this weekend. Made scones and chocolate banana cake using up 2 ripe bananas both to go with some ood cream that smells ok to me. Also some ood sausages have been eaten for tea. Hope we are all ok:rotfl:

I have some buttermilk and sour cream to use up. Will they freeze? I suppose it's worth a try.

I made a carbonara sauce last night using a delia recipe but it was really runny. I am not sure it was cooked very well as it was just mixed into the hot pasta but it tasted nice. May try a different recipe next time as this was my first attempt.

Does anyone know how to make the chinese style marinade for chicken and pork, a friend has ben asking me for ages to find this for her but I cant find it at all. There are lots of recipes but not the one she is after, its the red sticky stuff. My attempt at making this was a disaster,

Looked in my Taste of Asia book for you but couldn't find anything. I think you can buy a packet of char sui flavouring ( though i have forgotten who makes it). I am sure i have seen it in Tesc*s and the likes though
