I am wanting a tablet but am thinking i should wait until i go to the gadget show at the weekend?
Or should i wait? Are they likely to be any cheaper?

Some are, some aren't. If you know what you're looking for, it would be worth hunting around on the net to find the best price you can before you go, then see if it's cheaper at the show - or if it's close ask the dealer if they'll beat the price (make sure you can show them). Of if you see one at the show you like, walk away and spend five mins checking online prices.0

Beware with tablets there are so many dimensions (size, resolution, battery life, processor power, #cores, memory, OS version, takes micro SD, wireless, 3G, camera resolutions, all sorts), so it's hard to compare like with like, especially in a busy show with pressured sales.
Take the spec for the Nexus7, print it out, and use that as a baseline. It's a great starting point. If you see anything that beats it, you've got a good deal, if you don't, get one on Monday :-)0
