Dreams bed return help please

Hi, I purchased a bed from one of the stores closing down 2 weeks ago and it is basically to soft for me and is giving me a bad back.. I know I should have not bought without more thought. Anyhow dreams have a 30 to 40 day return policy but apparently as it was from a closing down store there is nothing They will / can do. Bought on MasterCard for £1200 retail should be £3700. Contacted manufacturer but they have turned me away also. Would be happy to exchange for a cheaper bed which is fit for purpose. Where do I stand ? Or is just a case of trying to sell for a loss? Some one from home serve is coming out to make sure it isn't faulty as they will consider exchange if it is....many thanks.

You stand, or rather lie, on the bed you've purchased I'm afraid. A retailer is only legally obliged to accept a return that is proven faulty. As you've simply changed your mind, for whatever reason, then you rely on the stores own T&Cs and goodwill regarding returns.0
