Hi, My son needs a new graphics card. He plays games like Magicka, Minecraft etc. I need to get it from Amazon as I have gift cards for there. I don't really want to spend more than £60. Can anyone recommend a good NVIDIA one? Many thanks.

For £60, AMD offer better value for money.
What PSU have you got?0 -
Sorry:o Well it's a new computer as the old one has died, it needed a new motherboard, the graphics card had overheated and the fan and power supply is on its way out. I don't know what the graphics card was but it wasn't very expensive. On the recommendation of the computer repairman I'm getting this
http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/motherboardbundles/mbb-32204a.html as the casing is ok so its a graphics card to be installed in this computer. NVIDIA was a brand that was recommended to me. I'm a bit of a technophobe so thanks for the help.0 -

I don't think £175 is good value. And I would suggest you get B75 chipset instead

PSU - I suggest you go for quality 400W.

If you want Nvida. This GTS 450 would suit your budget. But it is a older card, less energy efficiency.0 -
Thanks Cisco. I've already bought the Novatech motherboard bundle so it's just a graphics card I'm after. Do you know any reason why someone would buy the NVIDIA card over others, or is it just personal preference? Thanks again.0

I would pay an extra £10 and get a 7750 graphics card like this one:

Thanks Elliott. Unfortunately due to the unexpected expense of having to buy a new computer £60 is the most I can afford for a graphics card, and that's only possible due to the fact I have that amount in Amazon vouchers0

If you must get it from amazon for under £60, then this is your best choice
