Pay at Pump in France
Comments
-
Barter is so right.
We live in France.
Motorway stations are manned and take visa cards 24hrs.
Supermarket petrol stations are manned morning and evening 6 days a week, close for lunch and bank holidays. 99% take UK chip/pin cards.
When closed most stations accept FRENCH MASTERCARD ONLY in automatic pump.
However, some take cash, not many, and if you hang around a Frenchman may put petrol in using his card if you give him cash.0
