Hi Sea! Just popping in before I crash into bed (not crash into the bed you understand, as that would hurt, but just to crash) to say hello!

glad the assembly went well x

  • Glad the assembly went well!

When is DD's birthday? It's my DD's birthday on Sunday and we're having almost the opposite of a princess party - a football party. Luckily for me (who knows nothing about football) an ex-professional is coming in to organise it all - £80 to coach 22 kids for 2 hours - bargain, and rather him than me!!

Sadly, with one boy, one tomboy and another boy on the way i think my days of princess related things are about over :(

Thanks :) She is a very girly girl. I've printed out invitations, envelopes, thank you cards and party bags too at work today. Have to pop some ribbons on them, assemble the party bags and that's all done :)

Need to go some poundshops and get some fabby princess goodies for the party bags. I'm going to do design your own tiara activity, pass the parcel(x2?), musical statues, food, birthday cake and perhaps a pin the crown on the frog type game. Think this will last about 2 hrs (they have to get changed into their outfits when they arrive anyway as it's after school). Should be quite cheap. Am going to do one of those ghastly barbie cakes - a domed cake, with a hole in top to put a barbie in and the cake is then decorated as the 'skirt'. Yuk -but Sophia will LOVE it! :D She loves all the invitations etc I did.

Finally got the Halfords vouchers through from Toluna that I ordered at the beginning of AUGUST! Now will put them in OH's hamper I think.

Hope all are well - got so much to do as usual but feel so much better for sorting all this out for Sophia.

Today my mum received an honorary 'people's' degree from Leeds Uni that was voted for by the readers of her local paper - so proud of her! She's now a 'dr'!! Marvellous :)

Lol!:D I was resisting the whole pink princesses theme, but it's just so easy and she will love it sooo much. It is also cheap to do as most kids have the princes outfits already, the pound shops have loads of pink themed stuff etc.

Thanks you two - I just have to get it all organised over the next week without being completely obsessed and going over budget! I've set a budget of £20 for EVERYTHING including food, which I think is more than enough. :)
