Hi Sea well done on the extra £30.000
-
Thanks

Just been packing it all up now - realising as I did it why I stopped doing mass ebaying things!
It was so funny at the wedding - I mentioned this board (how everyone had said that I should stay over if I really wanted to) and they (all my old uni friends) started raving about Martin! They had reclaimed bank charges themselves and for family and all got the emails - it was so funny! We then had a massive chat about the site etc and I realised I just can't escape it, even when away from the computer lol!

I can not believe I forgot to mention my DS's birthday! How shameful!
He had a wonderful time and people sent lots of cards - so kind. I can't believe my little boy is 2 now! He got lots of lovely presents - Ninky Nonk, a remote control noddy car, ELC digger, mr. Potato Head, bob the builder phone, and his godmother is making him something too
He likes the turtle backpack we got him as well
So he's a very lucky boy! Grandma is coming tomorrow with more presents no doubt (the love affair she has with my kids grows stronger every day!). Ooooo and he also got a FAB wheelbarrow with lots of bits and bobs inside - it's crying out for a sandpit lol. So far he's filled it with lego and raced around with it - I'll try to upload some photos later of him (and Sophia's very envious face lol).
Today I'm trying to organise things - sent most of the Ebay stuff yesterday and am just waiting on one more person to pay - grr. The exhausts aren't going well and i@m not sure if they're going to sell which is a shock.
We're off to a special storytime today - Blackpool zoo are coming and bringing the touch and feel pool - how exciting! I can't believe it's all free - so good
Blurghhhh...William has filled the room with a particular smell so must go and sort that! Hope all are well

Nice to heard that he had a good birthday!
My bosses little girl has just turned 2 and he came up with a wonderful story. You know when kids are really excited and start hopping up and down, well she was doing this, opened the present from her grandparents (a toy piano and microphone) started clapping her hands, my boss asked her what it was, she replied..... 'I don't know!!'
It just made me laugh.
Storytime sounds like great fun, I loved things like that when I was a kid. Have a good day.Current debt - £16,300

Aaaaaah, bless! look forward to seeing some pics.
Lucky you having a two year old. My little boy is now six! And there's no baby-ness left, he's all boy. As OH said the other day, he wasn't born, he fell out of the pages of the Beano.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Well the room is fumigated now!
I've remembered another reason for posting today too - I need hints and tips for when we go to Frnace. We have a lot less money to spend than I thought due to some things now selling as I thought they would on Ebay and too much spending generally.
I'm going to take our own loo rolls (we're staying in caravan at a Eurocamp) . I'm going to take a big bottle of squash as well (we're driving so have room) so that we can dilute it in an empty water bottle for the day. This should save a little money when it comes to drinks for the kids and I know tht William will drink it (he's a fussy !!!!!!). What other tips does anyone have? If it saves us a bit of money I'm open to anything really. We're going with family who are really quite rich and won't have these worries, but I want to keep a handle on the spends really. We'r enot far from the Spanish border so will pop to Andorra for duty free alcohol

Hi Sea.
The only thing I can think of is to buy food where the locals do. I guess they are not going to be willing to buy things at tourist prices! And as ever picnics are going to be cheaper than eating out.
Just try to have a lovely time.Current debt - £16,300
