Thanks for that - will investigate that now.
My goodness - the rain is really heavy here! Trying to be MSE today - so making a thank you card with DD for a puppet she was given at the weekend as well as doing House Fairy with her. She selected 'painting' from the pot of activities today so we'll be painting later (think I got that from flylady) - thank goodness she didn't pick soft play as I certainly wouldn't want to be walking there in this weather!
Will do clicks as well and am searching for the cheapest mag sub for my friend's birthday pressie.
Hope all are well

Hi Sea ...glad to see things seem to be going ok for you and that you're getting a little relaxing time....the weather has been awful today ...0

Hi

The weather has been disgusting - although I managed to pop to the shops in between the rain and get our weekly shop with just the pushchair so feel better for getting out. Just off to bath the kids now and get them into bed.

Sorry to hear about your friend Sea - it's horrible to know someone has a problem that you can't really help with. Just be there for her - she might be backtracking at the moment, but once she's said it out loud once, it might just have opened the floodgates, so all you can do is be ready if she decides she needs to talk."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

I agree with Snaggles, maybe the seeds of sorting things out have been sown by her having told someone her problem.
I hope you have a good day and that the weather is better for you today xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning Sea. Hope it's stopped raining up there! (Nice and sunny down here.) Hope you're feeling OK and have a good weekend. And sympathies re the friend - she'll know you're there for support when she needs it, even if she has decided to backtrack for now.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Oh what a lovely load of messages to read when I signed in today

DS decided to be devil child from hell last night and decided it was playtime at 9pm, up and about. Grrrr...but I do think something is going on in his brain so it could all be linked- he's been too busy thinking and processing to be able to sleep! He said chair last night and today added police to his regular, all he's said for the past year, 'car'. So feeling rather pleased
I've been making a rea effort to describe things etc so I hope that has helped. Probably nothing to do with it!
I sent my friend a gorgeous card (not very MSE as it was £2.20 and also got one of those little card things you put in your purse as well - not sure abou the cost of that!!) but they are perfect and summed up exactly what I wanted to say - not very good as saying things sometimes. I just wrote inside that I was here whenever she needed me.
Weather seems ok here - actually looks like good drying weather so I must go empty the washing machine, could justify using the dishwasher if I don't use the tumble dryer today
Been trying to get quotes through Quidco for my house ins but it's really doing my head in. Keeps crashing, or coming up with an error at the final quote stage. The only quotes I do get are quite a bit higher than my renewal quote so I might stick to budget!
So annoyed iwth myself - I am about 500 ipoints short of the mag subs I was going to get my friend for her birthday and if I hadn't clicked on the stupid summer scratchcard offer I'd have enough! Serves me right for gambling them!
Will have to use tesco clubcard points I think, although there is quite a good offer I found for Zest over on the shop but don't drop board. I do have money set aside, so I could get this. Her birthday is next weekend so need to get a move on!
Anyway, I think I need to start talking to more adults as a week just with the kids is making me waffle even more than usual on here

You're not waffling - I love reading your posts! Plus, as you know, I'm a bit obsessed with babies, so I love hearing about how you're doing."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

hahaha - Sophia has just made me nearly fall off my chair - you know when you have a lie down with a baby or small child on the sofa (not sleeping, just lying) and you teeter on the edge to ensure they have enough room? Soph has just done exactly this with her 'baby' under the blanket on the sofa. She looks so uncomfy! Bless!CCCS DMP:Feb 07
