well sorry phil but you are your own worst enemy, i give up, i really do. you obviously dont want to work as all you do is make excuses as to why you cant work.
I left school with no GCSE'S, i nearly went to jail aged 15, have never really had a stable job, have a criminal record and STILL HAVE MANAGED TO GET A JOB IN THE CARE SECTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are no excuses phil, none at all.

I know you did. I feel shame in going to ask for help at the job centre though as it feels as if I have failed and I can not look after myself.

There is no shame in going to the job centre (and you ask to see the DISABLED EMPLOYMENT ADVISOR - you don't go in and just see anyone - you ask to see the DEA!) it is not a hand out or an easy option! It is not a matter of not being able to look after yourself - I really do not know where you get these ideas from I really don't:confused:

I get it and I will go and see what thy say.

    Phil,

For Gawd's sake, I and Tobruk and others have been telling you to do this for what seems like forever.:wall:

I am sure you can do a job, but what with your parents and your personality issues (ie;.....you cannot ever take the initiative, and seem to need validation before you do anything), I really do think that you need help from a DEA to get employment (any employment!)

They will understand your lack of confidence and support you - that's what they are trained to do.:j
At the moment, you are full of what job *you* want, but the facts are that you are not qualified for anything - you have been educated to a certain standard, and that's it.

Employers (in the jobs you mention) require other things, so you need to start with what you can cope with, and then work your way up the greasy pole.............;)

Please, just go and talk to them.....................before I lose the will to live.........

Ignore your parents, ignore any relatives, ignore the world.............just do it!

    Lin :wall:
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

You could be in town today picking up application forms but instead you'd rather sit here moaning about not having a job rather than doing anything about it.
