I always ask for at least birth certificate + one other form of ID for anyone I interview. You only get caught out once making a job offer you regret (and get you in hot water)0

I am thankful for the advice. And if I get it then you can be rid of me.:beer:0

I am hopeful for getting it. I must admit after 2 months since it was first advertised I had sort of thought it would be filled by now. So it is a nice shock to get an interview now.:beer:0

Good luck SP. Don't worry about the documents, it's very common for companies to ask at this stage.0

Your potential employer will be conducting their business under the requirements of the DPA.
Will you please stop trying to get people to join in long threads of advice to you when you know perfectly well that you have to conform to some degree if you want to get a job.
As far as these threads are concerned, many of us have been there, done that, wish you well . . . but really !!!!!!
Why do you get drawn into the long threads?“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0 -

Why do you get drawn into the long threads?
Well they don't begin long! I withdrew from an earlier one because OP should have been spending time on preparing for exams. One lives in hope of them becoming productive but I've now learned they don't and I am joining others who have permanently given up!0 -
I have been. I have not a clue if I said the right things. The ad was all wrong ans there are many different posts and some are weekdays and some weekends. I hope I said the right thing in that I am open to any of the jobs and I can do weekdays or weekends.:beer:0

No Need for such little faith, I have been busy revising and learning my stuff for my exam!:beer:0 -
This thread will get very long if phil doesn't get the job, it will be full of the why not me ... I am worthy ....it was discrimination etc on top of which his final exams start in the next couple of days - look out!
If Phil does not get this job he will be upset, very upset in one way, but in another it is a more spreadout job than I would have liked. Given the fact it might require 1/2 a weekday is not ideal, but I could cope and you have to start somewhere.:beer:0
